General Hospital Spoilers tell us that Sonny Corinthos is once again about to be single. It doesn’t look like he will ever forgive Nina Reeves for her betrayal so their marriage will likely end soon. Which Port Charles lady will Sonny fall for next?
General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny and Ava Jerome Are Getting Closer
It wasn’t that long ago that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) were bitter enemies. Although the two have a daughter together, Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), Sonny blamed Ava for the death of his son, Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig).
It looked like the mob boss would never get over his anger but recently his feelings toward Ava have softened. She confided in him about the trouble she was in with Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) and how she believed she killed her ex, Nicholas Cassadine (Adam Huss). Sonny happily helped her because she is the mother of his daughter.
The two are now growing closer. They are now in Puerto Rico together with Avery because Sonny is trying to keep them safe. He and Ava are bonding. Feelings may begin to arise between the former enemies. They would certainly be an explosive General Hospital couple but their daughter would be thrilled.
Will Sonny Fall for Anna Devane on General Hospital?
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) could be an interesting choice for Mr. Corinthos. She is single after her break-up with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Valentin and Nina may end up back together so their exes falling for each other would make sense.
Sonny and Anna have been on opposite sides of the law for most of their careers on General Hospital but Anna is no longer a WSB agent. She has been working with the mob boss to find out who shot Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). The two like and respect each other and are friends. Friendship can always turn to love, especially if they keep putting their heads together.
Is Brenda Barrett Returning to Reclaim Her Former Love?
Rumors are swirling that Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) will be returning to General Hospital and fans are cheering. Brenda was once the love of Sonny’s life and many believe she still is. Sonny divorcing Nina would be the perfect time for Ms. Barrett to pop back into his life.
Could Brenda be the so far unseen mom of Josslyn Jax’s (Eden McCoy) friend Adam Wright (Joshua Benard)? Stranger things have happened in Port Charles. She has been gone a long time and it is very possible that she is now married with a college-age son.
The return of Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) may also bring Brenda back. The two were once besties and ran L&B Records together.
Brenda may have been the one who got away for Sonny Corinthos and now may be the perfect time to get her back.
Of course, that would make Carly Corinthos Spencer’s (Laura Wright) head spin. Speaking of Carly, she may be Sonny’s one true love and they can always remarry for the fifth time. It is unlikely that she and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will last.
