His girlfriend tells him she wants him to move to the city as soon as possible. He thinks it’s a lot to think about, especially since she has a daughter.

The 90 Day Fiance: The Single Life cast member has been open about not wanting kids. He explains that he likes his sleep and to do whatever he wants. However, he is dating a woman who has a child. So, he has a lot to consider before moving to San Antonio.
Megan also wants John to meet her daughter. However, he doesn’t know if it is too soon. So, he calls his brother Patrick Mendez to talk about the situation before the big meet.
John Meeting Daughter Too Soon a Red Flag?
John tells Patrick that he will be meeting Megan’s daughter, River. He explains to his brother that he is going to have to meet her daughter if he plans to make his relationship with Megan work.
However, Patrick tells the 90 Day Fiance: The Single Life castmate that he wouldn’t meet the daughter. He explains that it is a “big deal.” He explains that if his brother meets the daughter and then breaks up with Megan, her daughter is also affected by the breakup.
Yet, John says he has plans to see how his relationship with Megan continues to grow. However, Patrick sees red flags. So, he asks his brother if he isn’t just saying things to make her happy. The TLC celeb tells his brother “no” and that he is “honest and tells the truth.”
Patrick tells the TLC star to be careful, especially since he doesn’t want to have any children of his own. And he doesn’t even know where the relationship is going. However, John says, “That’s life.” So, should he wait a little longer before meeting the little girl?

John McManus admits that he never dated someone with a child because he never wanted to be a father figure who was in and out of a child’s life like his father and stepfather were for him. He didn’t have a father figure around most of his life. And he wouldn’t want to put someone else through the same thing.
