Young and the Restless predictions suspect Nikki Newman may succumb to her alcohol addiction now that her sobriety has been ruined. And she may have a difficult and life-changing storyline coming up on the CBS soap opera.
Nikki Newman Sabotoged on Young and the Restless
Recently, on Y&R, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) had her years of sobriety ruined. Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) was bent on getting revenge for her late sister, Eve Howard (Margaret Mason). So, she weaponized Claire Grace (Haley Erin) against Nikki and her whole family.
She put Nikki on a vodka IV drip. What’s worse is that she put a bottle of vodka in front of her until she couldn’t resist. And it looks like this tragic experience is going to be the beginning of a new nightmare for Nikki on Young and the Restless.
The Newmans Make It Home on Y&R
Thankfully, the Newmans are now on their way home to Genoa City. However, that doesn’t mean the drama is over. Claire and her psycho great-aunt Jordan both need to pay for their crimes.
So, Nikki and the others will likely need to testify in court and relive the horrific ordeal. Furthermore, it appears that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) may be representing them which will add insult to injury for the Newmans.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will likely be livid with Michael on Young and the Restless. And he will surely make his life difficult. But the worst part is that now that Nikki’s had a taste of booze, she is tempted to keep drinking.
Next week, she’s clearly struggling as she holds a glass of vodka ready to down it. Because it was forced into her system by Claire, her body is craving it. Plus she drank it directly from the bottle.
Indeed, it seems she won’t be able to fight temptation on her own. So she’s likely going to need professional help along with the support of her family.
Young and the Restless Predictions: Relapse Ahead for Nikki?
Now that she has had her first taste of alcohol in many years, Nikki wants more. Most likely, she’s headed for a relapse. So, she should go to rehab and start a new road to recovery. No doubt, her loved ones will push for this.
However, Nikki may resist. She might fall headfirst back into her addiction and an intervention may be necessary. Indeed, she could have a long hard road ahead of her on Young and the Restless.
And if Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) accept Claire as their daughter, Nikki will have a constant reminder of her trauma. And that could make it harder for her to quit drinking again.
Indeed, things don’t look good for Nikki. Y&R will keep you on the edge of your seat these days. Don’t miss a moment to see if Nikki Newman falls back into self-destructive patterns on the CBS daytime drama.
