Amy Roloff from Little People, Big World returned to the classroom. She has found herself doing a job she used to do in the past. But what does this mean for her reality television show?
Little People, Big World: Amy Roloff Focuses on Parenthood
Amy Roloff wasn’t always a stay-at-home mother who took care of four kids and a farm. Before she started a family with Matt Roloff, she was a preschool teacher. However, when her twin boys came, she focused on raising her kids.
The Little People, Big World reality star left her teaching days behind when she started filming for the show. Working on the farm also became a big part of her life. So, there was no time to return to the classroom and teach. But it was always on her mind.
However, Amy has mentioned that she misses her days in the classroom. She had to go through all her old teaching supplies when she moved out of the farmhouse. And that made her miss her old job even more. But it seemed like it was time for her to get back to doing what she loves — teaching.
Amy Returns to Teaching
Amy returned to the classroom late last year. She revealed that she was substituting at an elementary school. She had to get up early to go to work. But she was happy to be teaching again. And it wasn’t just a one-day job.
The Little People, Big World cast member recently revealed that she was still substituting at a local school in her district. She took a short break from teaching to give fans an update on her latest job. She had a smile on her face. So, she thought it was a good day.
Amy explained that over time, she got used to how things are done at the school she is subbing at. She also said she is getting to know some students more. And that makes her job “a little bit easier.” Does this mean she isn’t filming for a new season of her family’s reality television show?
Little People, Big World Show Over?
Amy Roloff taking on a teaching job had fans wondering if there won’t be any new seasons of her TLC show. Fans have been speculating for a while that the show was coming to an end. One person felt that the last season was “boring.” Another person thought the show was over “the moment everyone started to move out of the farmhouse.” A person even hoped that some of the other kids would return.
Many of the Amy’s kids have ditched the show. Zach Roloff and Tori Roloff are the only ones who appear in the newer seasons of Little People, Big World. However, Tori has said there will be a time when she and Zach won’t want to welcome the cameras into their lives. Could that time be sooner than expected?
