Debbie Johnson ditches Las Vegas, Nevada, for a new life in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada. Over four decades ago, she married a man named Harley. They had one son together, Colt Johnson. Sadly, Harley had a heart attack and passed away. It was an awful time in her life.

However, after 13 years of being single, the 90 Day Fiance: Diaries cast member decided to get back into the dating world. And that is when she met her Canadian boyfriend, Tony Starcevich. They met through a friend online and eventually met in person. As their relationship grew, she moved in with him in Canada.
Debbie and Tony have now been together for a year. It was an adjustment for her. The TLC star had lived with her son, Colt, for so many years that it took time for her to adjust to living with another man. She was nervous about it. She didn’t know if she wanted to have someone tell her what to do and when to do it. So, she feels that they are a “work in progress.”

Tony knows Debbie has sacrificed a lot to move in with him in Canada. So, he has a surprise for her. He tells her that they are going to look and see and maybe end up getting a kitten. He reveals that they currently have two cats and a dog living in their house. But they want to add another member to the family. He feels it is an important milestone because it is the first thing they are getting together.
The 90 Day Fiance: Diaries castmate heads to a cat shelter with her boyfriend. However, she has guidelines when picking out a cat. Her first one is that it has to be a kitten, and it has to be a male. She also wants the kitten to be calm.
Debbie explains that when you see a particular cat, there is something that breaks your heart. And it makes her feel like you have to get it. And her last guideline is that it has to be “house-broken.” However, she also adds that Tony has to like the kitten.
90 Day Fiance Couple Still on the Hunt for New Family Member
Tony Starcevich feels that some of the cats have quirks. However, he says some cats were friendly. But he explains that the problem is that they are all older. And Debbie Johnson wants a kitten.
The 90 Day Fiance: Diaries celeb reveals they have not found the perfect kitten yet. But Debbie and Tony are still looking. She doesn’t mind that they haven’t found a cat. For her, what’s important is that her boyfriend is making an effort to make her feel more at home.
