Whoopi Goldberg recently slipped up on “The View” once again when she dropped an “unacceptable” word live on air, sending producers scrambling and causing the show to descend into chaos.

Chaos On ‘The View’

“The View” producer Brian Teta opened up about what happened in the latest episode of his The View: Behind the Table podcast. Goldberg’s co-host Ana Navarro was his guest for the day, and she pointed out that Teta had previously censored her for saying the same word.

“I was watching…the first segment, low and behold, I heard Whoopi say [bleep], which you never let me say, but I heard her say it,” Navarro complained.

The Sun reported that Navarro was referring to last Friday’s episode in which Goldberg said the word “ca***es” during one of her frequent unhinged ants.

“Well, I think if people grew some c*****s and made the laws work for the people in their respective countries…” she exclaimed.

“Listen, in this country, yes, you have the ability to say whatever you want to say,” Goldberg added. “You can be anonymous. But I think if you’re going to be there giving your opinion about whatever it is, we should be able to engage.”

Teta was quick to agree with Navarro that Goldberg never should have been allowed to drop this word, adding that producers immediately scrambled to try and fix the situation.

“First of all, what happened was Whoopi did say that,” Teta explained. “It was then corrected on the West Coast, it was corrected on social media and on YouTube and everywhere else, and it was sound-dropped properly.”

“Today, you yelled it out at the end of the show again, and they bleeped you in real-time,” he continued.

Goldberg Uses Racial Slur

This is far from the first time that Goldberg has dropped an “unacceptable” word live on “The View.” Earlier this year, she was forced to apologize after using the word “gypped,” a word that has been used for being cheated or swindled, but is now seen as a slur because of its association with “Gypsies.”

Daily Mail reported that Goldberg used the word while discussing the alleged hush money scandal between the former President Donald Trump and the porn star Stormy Daniels.

“The people who still believe that he got, you know, gypped somehow, will still believe that he cared enough… about his wife to pay that money from his personal thing,” she said. “I just don’t understand. If that was the case, then why all the subterfuge? Why is Michael Cohen paying for it?”

Goldberg issued a groveling apology video less than an hour after the show ended.

“You know when you’re a certain age you use words that you know from when you’re a kid or you remember saying, and that’s what I did today and I shouldn’t have, I should have thought about it a little longer before I said it,” she said. “But I didn’t and I should have said ‘cheated,’ but I used another word and I’m really, really sorry.”

Goldberg Suspended Over Holocaust Comments

Last year, Goldberg was suspended from “The View” for outrageously claiming that the Holocaust was not about race.

“The Holocaust isn’t about race,” Goldberg said during a January of 2022 episode, according to Fox News. “It’s about man’s inhumanity to man, that’s what it’s about.”

Goldberg’s mistakes on “The View” are only happening more frequently, and she’s clearly becoming a major thorn in the sides of the producers, who are forced to clean up her messes. Though Goldberg has been a staple on “The View” since 2007, her days on the ABC talk show could be numbered if she doesn’t learn to be a little more careful about what she says.
