The conservative country music star John Rich has some big plans for Thanksgiving later this week that patriotic Americans everywhere are sure to get a big kick out of!
But first, check out one of Rich’s best anti-liberal songs below.
John Rich’s Song “I’m Offended!” is probably one of the truest songs I have heard in a while same thing with the song “Rich Men North of Richmond. Plus the music video is a one of a kind. pic.twitter.com/dsuEaDt64b

Rich Planning On ‘Shooting Skeet’
While promoting his new song “The Man,” Rich opened up about how Thanksgiving is his “favorite time of the year.”
“We’ll probably be outside shooting skeet, hitting some targets, building a big campfire, you know, that kind of stuff,” Rich told Fox News.
Rich went on to say that his 12 year-old son plans to be in the kitchen this year to help make their family’s Thanksgiving meal.
“My youngest son, Colt… He has told me over the past couple of years he wants to be a chef,” he explained, adding that Colt loves watching cooking videos on YouTube.
“I’ll be like, ‘What do you watch?’ And he goes, ‘I’m learning how to fry chicken. I’m learning how to make banana bread,’” Rich continued. “He’ll send me to the grocery store to get a list of all these ingredients. He made yeast rolls the other night.”
That’s why Colt will be joining the “ladies of the family” to help make the Thanksgiving feast this year.
“This is my absolute favorite time of the year because you work your tail off all year long,” Rich added. “You get to this part of the year, the weather cools off, the family shows up… Nothing better.”

Rich and his wife Joan, who he’s been married to since 2008, are parents to Colt and his 13 year-old brother Cash. Though Rich loves making music, being a father has been his top priority in life ever since his sons came into the world.
“Raising your kids is the most important job a man or a woman has if they have kids. … Spending time with my two boys … teaching them about the world they’re looking at today, getting them ready for what they’re going to run into when they become young men, that is job No. 1,” he said earlier this month.
“I would never sing another note if you said, ‘Give up your music, give up your kids.’ Are you kidding?” he continued. “Not even a question… There’s nothing I would not do for my two kids.”
Thankfully, Rich has never had to choose between his family and country music. He’s currently promoting his new song “The Man,” which was inspired by his World War II veteran grandfather.
“I had the great pleasure and really the advantage, in my opinion, of spending a lot of my life around this old man, World War II veteran,” Rich explained. “Quite the stories that he told.”
“I wrote this song in memory of him and about my experience with him. But, more broadly, I wrote the song about all of them,” he added, referring to veterans. “You know, ‘The Man,’ to me, yeah, it was him for me, but ‘The Man’ to somebody else is their father, their grandfather, someone in their family that served the country.”

Rich ‘Prayed Over Thanksgiving’
Rich has long been open about his love of both Thanksgiving and America. Back in 2020, he took to social media to post a powerful message in honor of the holiday.
“I prayed over Thanksgiving dinner today and thanked the Lord for health and family,” he wrote. “I also thanked Him for letting us live in America and for the freedoms we have I then asked Him to keep his mighty hand on our leaders, and that our freedoms be preserved for my children. AMEN.”

It’s rare to find an America-loving, family-oriented patriot like Rich in the entertainment world today. We hope that the Rich family enjoys their Thanksgiving, and we can’t help but agree that this truly is the best time of year!
