A male aide to Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) who filmed a sex video with another man in Hart Senate Office Building room 216 late last year will not be charged.
Aidan Maese-Czeropski was identified by multiple outlets as the man seen in the graphic video published by The Daily Caller this past December.
Cardin fired the aide and Maese-Czeropski suggested that he was a victim of a homophobic political agenda.
“This has been a difficult time for me, as I have been attacked for who I love to pursue a political agenda,” he wrote in a post on LinkedIn.

Capitol Police: Not A Crime To Have Sex In The Senate
Maese-Czeropski was under investigation and facing potential criminal charges after making the sexually explicit video filmed within the Senate chambers.
The Capitol Police, according to Punch Bowl News Founder Jake Sherman, issued a statement updating their investigation.
The update is that the case is closed.
“For now, we are closing the investigation into the facts and circumstances surrounding a sex video that was recorded inside the Hart Senate Office Building on the morning of Wednesday, December 13,” the statement reads.
“After consulting with federal and local prosecutors, as well as doing a comprehensive investigation and review of possible charges, it was determined that – despite a likely violation of Congressional policy – there is currently no evidence that a crime was committed,” the statement adds.

Cardin’s Aide Was Not Cooperative
Ah, doesn’t it just warm the cockles of your heart to know that sex in the Senate is perfectly acceptable? I mean, don’t get randy with your own date in a local theater though. That, my friend, is frowned upon.
But sex in the Senate – totally cool. Perhaps Senators will now start their own OnlyFans accounts and film live in the chamber.
There was a time when Democrats were arguing that they were the party of decency. Now, the contrasts between them and Republicans are quite clear.
Gay sex in the Senate chamber? Sure. Walking peacefully through the Capitol (a majority)? Time to decorate your jail cell.
Coke in the White House? Yawn. Sit silently in prayer at an abortion clinic? Don’t make plans for the next decade.
Flash your breasts at people at an official White House event? Yay! Complain about the curriculum at your local school? Terrorists!
We’d sure hate to see what it would look like if the adults weren’t back in charge.
The Capitol Police statement contends that both individuals involved in the sex tape in the Senate were not cooperative with the investigation. Why that is a necessity is a mystery since the incident was caught on film.
The Political Insider is facing imminent closure.
